Redline Xtreme Review

Redline Xtreme Review

By Affordablesupplements.com

Redline Energy Drinks have long been known as one of the most powerful energy drinks because of their blending of caffeine with other stimulants. You have seen the tiny bottles at gas stations for years. I’ve been using Redline Xtreme for quite a while now to help out on my long nights working on this website. Redline Xtreme is produced by VPX.  In this Redline xtreme review we will review the ingredients, the products effectiveness and provide a warning and some tips for use.

Redline Extreme

So what’s makes it different than the original Redline Energy drink, what is extreme about it? Well, It’s got the same amount of caffeine as Redline RTD (657mg per serving) – but has a whole bunch of other ingredients such as Beta-Alanine, Hordinine, N-methyl Tyramine, and even St Johns Wort and it comes in a bigger bottle.

Here’s what VPX have to say.

Great alternative to your typical carbonated energy drinks when you’re in need of some quick energy.

  1. Redline Xtreme Review Ingredients

Redline Xtreme is made up with an electrolyte Matrix and a Propreitary Blend of ingredients. The core Electrolyte Matrix contains 2mg of calcium, 2.5mg of Magnesium and 26mg of potassium. The potassium is a rather low dose, but according to examine.com, it’s common for supplements to not put more than around 80mg due to possible side effects. Most of your potassium intake should come from food anyway. But this does give you a nice little jolt, coming in at 52mg if you drink the entire bottle. More on that later.

The Proprietary Blend has a long list of ingredients which I have attached to bottom of the review. There are two servings in each bottle-although if you are just looking for a little boost you could make it a third or a quarter of a bottle.. I, I really like the amount of caffeine it has in each bottle.  The amount of caffeine in comparison to typical energy drinks like Monster, that usually come in much less. The propritary blend shows that it 657mg per serving, which leaves us 499mg for the other ingredients. And there are a lot of them, but who knows how much of each. Beta-alanineBCAA (Leucine, Valine, Isoleucine), NALT, Toothed Clubmoss (also known as Huperzine, helps with memory and cognition), yohimbe, N-methyl Tyramine (may help blood pressure?), Yerba Mate, Evodia (fat burner with not much evidence), vinpocetine (improved reaction time, though little evidence) and 5-HTP.

Seems like an OK profile, though I’m sure much of it is underdosed. We may never know!

   2. Taste and Dosing

It comes in a bottle with a replaceable cap, which is nice if you don’t want it all at once as most people will just use half a bottle at a time.  It tastes the best when it is drank cold. It doesn’t have much of an aftertaste. Overall it is pretty enjoyable to drink and in my opinon puts Red Bull to shame. There is a nice warning on the bottle to start at 1 serving, which is half the bottle. They also include a visual marker on the bottle that tells you where the recommended one serving is. Do not consume more than 1 whole bottle in a day or you’ll be sorry.

When it comes to really serious energy drinks like this, taste is frequently a secondary consideration.  However this does taste great-especially the watermelon.

3. Effectiveness

Redline gets the job done in spades and helps me stay awake when I use it. Within 20 minutes of drinking it you should start feeling its effects, Mostly it just gives me some clean energy and improved focus. It is a favorite beverege of truck drivers.

The are a lot of catchy catchphrases on the bottle to describe it.
-University Studied
-7.5% Improvement in Reaction Time!
-A potent 13% increase in energy!
-An amazing 15% increase in mental focus.

So…as though it weren’t enough that it was so dang strong, the effects of the full bottle kept me going for about ten hours.  Yeah, you read right—ten hours of insane energy.  What on earth does anybody need to go that strong for that long for?  Unless you’re creating the heavens and the earth, I’ll say it once again—half a bottle will work just fine.

How they get these percentages, who knows, but the second two seem legit to me. I don’t know how to put what I feel into a percentage, but those seem right. As for reaction time, I’ll try and google a reaction time test I can run on myself and I’ll follow up with you all about that. I probably won’t actually do that, but maybe.

     4. Value

Redline takes a little bit of a hit here, coming in at $3.49/bottle. It can be found a bit cheaper if you buy it in a 4-pack or more. It actually reduces the price quite a bit. I always buy mine in singles because I only use it once a week at the most. They carry them at my gym and if I had forgotten my PWO for some reason, I’d be willing to pay for one of these.

5. Side Effects

Small thermo effect, but nothing bad.  Consuming caffeine however during pregnancy has often been debated by medical professionals concerning the risks it imposes on the developing baby  so if there is a chance you may be pregnant or are pregnant talk to your physician. Caffeine is a drug and it does have real physiological effects on those that consume it and these effects are passed on to the unborn child through the placenta.

Redline Xtreme Review Conclusion

Well, I really wanted to get this review up in case there is anyone out there like me with weird work schedules who might be in need of a product like this. I always disliked Monster and Redbull and all those drinks, and I have found that Redline actually does a pretty good job at giving me some good energy and keeping me awake. The large amount of caffeine makes it versatile as well, as you can just put the cap back on and finish the rest of the drink when ever you want to. Go to your local gas station and pick one of these up if you are in need of some quick energy and don’t feel like taking one of your fat burners or PWOs!

Shake well. Always begin use with one-quarter bottle (2 ounces) of REDLINE XTREME® daily to assess tolerance. Never exceed more than 4 ounces per serving or more than one bottle daily. Use the gauge on the bottle to find your ideal dose.
